Abraham Lincoln: Friend of the People, Clara Ingram Judson, 1950

A Book for Children

Abraham Lincoln, Friend of the People by Clara Ingram Judson featured fourteen color images of the Chicago Historical Society’s dioramas as illustrations. To write her work, the author relied upon then current scholarship and consulted several Lincoln scholars, chiefly Paul M. Angle, director of the Historical Society, and Roy P. Basler, director of the Abraham Lincoln Association and editor of the Complete Works of Lincoln.
