Ford’s Theatre
Booth entered Ford’s Theatre through a rear door, took a flight of stairs down one level and passed underneath the stage while the actors performed. He then took another set of stairs up to a side door and exited to a narrow alley that led to Tenth Street and the theatre’s front entrance. Passing through the main lobby, Booth took a flight of stairs to the upper gallery and the president’s box.
